The President welcomed members to the June meeting. Condolences were sent to Beryl of her recent bereavement - our thought are all with her. Apologies were received from Barbara, Beryl, Jenny, and Helen. The minutes were read, approved and signed. The correspondence was read. The Waveney Group will be holding a Garden Party on 29th July 2015 to celebrate the Centenary of Women’s Institutes. The speaker Brian Heard was introduced. He gave us a very entertaining and light hearted talk on his involvement with Scotland Yard as a forensic scientist for over 40 years. The Competition an item from the 60’s was won by Maureen, 2nd Anne and 3rd Maxine. The next meeting will be held on Wednesday 9th July at 2.30 at Ditchingham Village Hall. The speaker Pat Deliss will talk on ‘And we only wanted a pony’. Competition - a decorated horseshoe.
