Talk by Pauline Baker when working as a costumier for television and theatre.

Members were welcome to the September meeting at Ditchingham Village Hall.  Apologies were received from Anne, Pam, Gwen,  Jean and Jenny.   Birthday posy was handed to Maxine and also received a card for her special birthday.  The President thank all the members for their hard work at the August meeting which was a great success.  All the cards and thank you letters were read out and passed round for members to see.  Invites were read out from Mettingham, Broome and the Redenhall Group.   The Treasurer Beryl asked if any more members wished to join the 500 club.  The President then introduced Pauline Baker who spoke on Frock Horror.  Pauline told us stories and horrors of working as a costumier for television and theatre. She also explained the problems of working on films when producers do not run in sequence. She was thanked by the President. The result of the competition - an old Norfolk postcard  was 1st - Pauline,  2nd Beryl and 3rd  Helen. The October meeting is Sue Surshaw talking on her trip to Antartic at the Village Hall on 9th October at 2.30.  Friends and new members always welcome.

Thanks
Sue
